Ford Motor Doesn't Care About You or your safety, Ripoff! Dearborn Michigan
Hello Everyone I'm writing you this to inform you of an injustice by Ford Motor Company towards me. On the 13 of March 05 i was traveling on interstate 95 towards North Carolina on the other side of Richmond VA my crankshaft in my 2000 ford explorer with 78000 miles on it broke inside my engine and I lost all engine power and control of my vehicles steering at 70 miles an hour.
If it was not for my extensive drivers training i would have smashed into the wall at the above speeds. It is going to cost me 5400 for a new motor in my vehicle, The mechanic that has my vehicle explained this problem should never happen and nothing I did caused it, it was a faulty ford crankshaft that was installed in my vehicle.
I contacted ford motor company and said I wnanted ford To pay for the repairs du to the faulty ford part. They told me that since my warranty ran out i would have to pay for it. I explained to them this is not only the money its going to cost to fix it its a safety problem, They did not want to hear it.
Think about this scenario if i was a young unexperienced driver do you think i could have controled the vehicle at those speeds?
