Foreclosure Defense Law Firm Lee Friedland & Associates SCAM on homeowners needing foreclosure attorney Fort Lauderdale, Florida
We contracted with Foreclosure Defense Law Firm because we knew our home would be going into foreclosure. I was laid off from my job and had been out of work for several months. We had already gone through our savings, backup accounts and my retirement. Our last $2,000 was given to FDLF to help prevent the bank from taking our home away from us.
Finally the day came when the bank notified us they were attempting to sell our home. We contacted the FDLF and were told there was nothing they could do unless I had a job. At the direction of FDLF we contacted the bank. After speaking with the bank we discovered that that FDLF had only contacted them 3 times over the last seven months! We ended up making the arrangements with the bank to stop the sale of our home, not FDLF.
When we spoke to Lee and Brian (lawyers) they stated that they never guaranteed the outcome of their services. They never provided any services and we promptly asked for our $2,000 refund.
To date we have send numerous emails and made phone calls and have not received one response.
We wanted to post this story so other consumers wouldn't become the victims in this scam.
