Complaint Review: Forever Tranmissions - Las Vegas Nevada

Copy of my last correspondence with VIctor who I was led to believe was the owner.

Victor,

It has been a month and a half since you performed service on my car. 

The right thing would have been to pick up my car and fix it at no additional cost.  I have had everything on the clutch replaced. 

 I told you when I first talked with you if you were honest and treated me decent I could send a lot of business to you but that didn’t happen. 

 Below is a copy of the BBB compliant I am filing.  As it states, all I am asking for is my car to be repaired as it states in the complaint.  

I did not want this to come to this and would rather come to an agreement.

Complaint Description:

Overcharged severely for services with a warranty. Had to use warranty within a month and a half and they would not tow the vehicle to honor warranty

June, 24^th, 2013.  Had my car towed to Forever Transmissions and awaited an estimate for fixing my clutch. A week earlier I had my clutch disc set replaced but my mechanic was out of town. When I receive the call with the estimate I was told $941.00! I immediately said I will have to pick up my vehicle and he started dropping prices. He said the shifter cable should be replaced to but he could make something to fix it and do everything for $500 and everything is under warranty. When I picked it up I drove two blocks before calling back due to shifting my car was almost impossible. When I called I was told by Victor that it was due to the cable. I asked about the part he said they tried to make something but it didnt work and that they would only charge me about $450 to fix that. The following morning my car was making a noise that I have never heard before and I brought it back. At first Victor had told me it had nothing to do with the work they had done like I didn't know anything. Then they fixed the noise after we argued about it for no charge due to the fact that I stated I wouldn't pay anything. Last week, my car became immobile which I had 2 different mechanics look at which both told me it was an issue with the master/slave of the clutch which is the work Forever Transmissions did. I called Forever Transmissions and was told yes it is under warranty (which I have the paperwork in the event they said otherwise) and that I would have to get the immobile vehicle to them since towing is not included in the warranty. This is a month and a half after performing their service. I have gotten estimates from around town and for the work they did I was quoted no more than $300. The lowest was $259.96. I was charged $500 on the basis that I was told they could make something to fix it vs me taking my business elsewhere. I am a single father with 5 kids and work in sales. I have to have my vehicle in order to support my family. This week I have been forced to rent a car to get to and from work but cannot afford it. This has put me in a bad position both with my work and with my home. I work as a SEO expert on the side and didn't even make an internet complaint once I found out how bad I was ripped off but now with this happening and them not doing the right thing that is about to change. 

Your Desired Resolution:

All I want is my car fixed by Friday, August 9th. Completely fixed, no blaming other problems when everything in the clutch has been replaced, completely fixed at no additional cost to me. If this is done then I will be satisfied. Even by Saturday morning by 10 a.m.

I feel this is fair,   It gives you 3 days if picked up today to get work done correctly so that your paying clients needs can come first.  If you can do this I will even reimburse you the $50 for the towing on the 16^th if everything is in working order.
