Complaint Review: Fort Lowell Place Apartment - Tucson Arizona

A small but meaningful step in eliminating unsanitary and very hard to get rid of roach, bedbug and termite infestations, as well as piles of garbage and bad gardening in front of drug, criminal and mental patient apartments that are very badly run.  I have stayed in mud and thatched huts in Sumatra, Indonesia, Egypt, Thailand and Mexico that are more sanitary than the Fort Lowell Place Apartments - with a world less crime, drugs and bad management BS without employing a reputable exterminator to effectively eliminate the problem.  There is one thing worse than slum lord apartments that are unsanitary and illegally maintained – management that repeatedly says they will solve the problem, brags and ends up wasting tenants’ time in efforts that are worse than an honest nothing.  Don't waste your sense of intelligence, class and wise efficiency by staying here - there are two apartment complexes just east and south with exactly the same floor plan, better gardening, security and management.  

This is the second most unsanitary and disgusting dwelling I have stayed at in over 50 nations.  I cannot lay down for half an hour without finding ten blood sucking bed bugs crawling on my body, as many roaches scampering around the sink, crawling over my clothing, computer, furniture and even inside the refrigerator.

Despite complaining to the manager, who has since been replaced, over half a dozen times in a period of six months, the roaches and bed bugs remain in the apartment to this day, after a full half years of this disgusting and unsanitary torture.  The problem is legally the responsibility of the management, yet I sprayed twice myself.  No difference!

Better agencies that actually succeed in eliminating bed bugs, termites and roaches treat housing four separate times and cost more than the cheap and ineffective service provided by the rude and arrogant management, staff and owners of the Fort Lowell Place Apartments.

No youth hostel nor cheap hotel in Egypt, China, Russia, Morocco, Indonesia, Thailand nor any in 50 other nations where people live on a few hundred dollars per year that I have stayed in is worse, and only one men's hotel in New York where convicts and mental patients reside is has a rat and bed bug infestation that compares to the Fort Lowell Place Apartments.

As of today, July 15, 2015, the manager will not allow me to finish a single sentence on the phone to attempt to recover my belongings – part of which have already been thrown away without verbal or written warning, and negotiate for damages.  Since the management refuses to even allow a single statement on the phone, and has actually threatened to call police should I return to collect my belongings, I intend to use my bank of every major newspaper in the state of Arizona and Internet expertise to make these evil slum lords the most famous apartment owners in the state of Arizona as a career.

The sign in front of the apartments advertised the rent as being lower than it actually is for about a year, and the four by four inch post that held it up finally tipped over for being completely infested with termites.

My apartment was broken into after the poorly fitting screen on the window was simply stolen, and the window opened with the bad latch with the push of a finger.  One manager, Louise, stated that providing secure locks on the windows of the apartments is the tenants’ responsibility. 

The local who advertised she was going to steal from the apartment in this now bad neighborhood stole exactly what she said - unlike the management who could not eliminate bed bugs, roaches, termites despite numerous written and verbal complaints, and still has not after six months.  

Just the roaches and bugs crawling on your body is enough to drive anyone crazy.  There are several apartments less than five blocks away with exactly the same floor plan that appear to be roach and bed bug free.  One apartment complex with better maintenance and management is located at 3828 E Fort Lowell, and rented by Werth Realty.

I literally cannot leave a meal on top of the microwave for five minutes without a roach flying into the food.  All this, plus the management likes to talk a lot and be rude, patronizing and authoritative without ever solving the problem.  One tenant actually died in this forty unit apartment complex while I was there and those hired to remove belongings rudely complained about the burden of doing so without me asking.  The Fort Lowell Place Apartments represent a classic example of poor an illegal and unsanitary maintenance, false advertising, rude, pretentious and bragging policies that are not effectively enacted and pathetic wage slavery by bad owners that literally prevents management from having anything resembling a mature conversation that solves a simple problem.

Save your belongings from impossible infestation, your life from rudeness, drugs, crime and immature intimidation and avoid the Fort Lowell Place Apartments next to the Depot Sports Bar in Tucson, Arizona.
