Fortune Learning Systems SCAM! SMOOTH TALKING LIARS American Fork, Utah
I have never been scammed like this! I do not usually fall for smooth talkers but these guys were good. They used manipulative tactics and smooth talking to convince my husband and I to purchase a coaching system that would teach us how to make money from a home based business.
They asked how much money was on our credit cards and basically charged us almost all that was left on our cards, around 7,000 dollars. We asked if we would have to spend any money beyond this. They said no. They said we would need to spend 5 to 10 hours a week working to make thousands upon thousands of dollars and that we would be able to pay ourselves back within 3 months from signing up, and that if we didn't they would help us make the money back. They got us really motivated and basically took advantage of the fact that we were feeling desperate after a job loss.
Well, they lied as well. We were asked for more money the very next day, plus there were many other costs that they failed to mention along the way. I put over 40 hours a week into this program for over three months and we made absolutely no money. We have never been people to fall for scam artists, but these guys are VERY good. They would not refund our money when asked.
They also told me they were a Christian based company in order to convince us they were "honest."
