I called a local mortgage company to try and refinance my house. I was trying to take advantage of lower rates and also get a new heating system. I called them on Tuesday.
On Wednesday morning, i got a call from someone who said they were working with Equifax and they were with Foundation Financial. They said they saw I had tried to get a mortgage and mortgage comapnies were accessing my credit file and my credit score was going down as a result. They wanted me to give them my information and they would get me a loan. I told her I did not give out information to someone who just called me over the phone and I hung up on her.
About twenty minutes later, I got a call from what I assume was her supervisor stating that if I did not give them my information, I would not get my loan, because my credit score would be below 600 and I would be unalbe to get credit. I told her I still did not give out information to anyone who calls over the phone and hung up on her.
About a minute later she callled back and said my loan was denied and I would no be able to get a loan.

Last month I was contacted by Gerneral at Foundation Financial and he told me about their company and that they got my file. I have refinanced before and had a bad experience so I was very skeptical of any mortgage company. I looked up a few different companies on this website and wasn't happy to see the remarks on Foundation Financial Group. I spoke with Gerneral about it and he had me look up my current loan company and that really shocked me what I saw on them. I decided to give Gerneral a chance because he sounded like he knew what he was talking about. Then he let me talk to his manager Meagan who told me my loan options and told me all about the loan and no one has ever been so through with me on any refinance before. I was very impressed. Meagan and Gerneral told me it was a easy process and that they would be with me the entire way. I heard from Gerneral every day just to say hello. I was still afraid because I had lots of bad refinance experience before. I was just waiting for them to tell me something changed when Ii was closing. HOWEVER- I am very happy to say that everything they promised me, they delivered on 100%. After my great experience with them, I wanted to thank them by speaking on their behalf on this website and let anyone know who is thinking about using them for a refinance that they are legit and honest people. I will refer all my family members to Gerneral and Meagan in Jacksonville. Thank you for hiring employees with such integrity.
