Francis & Sons Car Wash Francis and Sons Car Wash Charge you for an Ulimate Car Wash price, but only give you a basic car wash. Gilbert, Arizona
On Friday, November 16, 2012, I brought my Lexus in for an oil change. I presented to the service technician a picture of the brand and type (Valvoline MaxLife Full Synthetic Higher Mileage Motor Oil 5W-30) oil that I wanted in my car. The technician said they do not carry it, but to use another type (Valvoline Synthetic blend) instead. I agreed due to the tech. saying it was comparable oil to the one I originally wanted. The next day, I looked up online where I could find my initially requested synthetic oil and it was noted that it was sold at Wal-Mart across the way from Francis & Sons. Two days later, I decided to bring my wife's car in for a car wash and decided to find out how much it would cost to have Francis & Sons to change my oil if I were to buy it at Wal-Mart and present it to the service technicians and was informed that they sell this brand and type of oil. So my question is why didn't the original technician know this and inform me that they had the synthetic oil? This is a complete breakdown in trust.
On Sunday, November 18, 2012, I brought my wife's car for the Ultimate Wash, which is the combination of the Basic + Works + VIP car washes with the addition of conditioner applied to dash, doors and console. Exterior dressing applied to all plastic - $24.99. I sat within view of the people drying my car and noticed they did not perform any of the above services (No tire shine, clear coat protectant, interior dressing, underbody wash, and triple foam polish.) I asked the guy performing the drying aspect of the wash and was informed that the numbers they put on my window was only indicated for a basic wash. So again my question is, why was I charged $24.99, but only received a basic car wash ($11.99)? This is again, another complete breakdown in trust.
Watch out for this car wash, for one they do not know the types of oil and/or products they sell, and secondly they will give you an inferior service, when you paid for an upgraded service.
