It is interesting that you let this man ruin your life over such a small amount of money. Or ruin your dream of becoming a model. Why did you only count in him? Why didn't you go to a reputable modeling agency such as FORD or ELITE?
It seems to me you let this thing get the better of you. Is this the reason you moved to Australia?

I too was scammed by him. It took 6 months of communications, threats, lies, bounced cheques (extra money from my pocket). I still have the communication threads as proof.

If any agent asks for money - run, don't walk away from them. Any agent who is interested in representing you gets paid when you get paid for work....never before....A lot of "agents" will try and mask this by saying the charge is for this or for that, but it's a scam - Do not fall for it!

I am extremely surprised that you choose to publish such nasty comments on your website without even advising us of the complaint. Obviously, many people have decided against registering with us since most people seem to only believe negatives which is a sad commentary. I give now provide our side of the dispute. Steve contacted us about modeling and he registered with us to receive some e-mailed training instructions and homework which he was supposed to complete and e-mail back to us. He did not complete the homework or submit same. He understood that we were an online agency only. He then was supposed to attend a workshop which he failed to do but rather went to an office that we had planned to rent for our mailing address and interviews. We had contacted the people who run the office some time beforehand with the full intent of eventually using the space. When I was finally rady to do so, the manger of the corporate businesscentre told me that she do not know that we were a modeling agency and they had a policy of not renting to modeling agencies since they had a problem with one in the past. I had explained to Steve that our company was taking longer to formulate than planned and that was partially due to the fact that Bell Canada had a technicians' strike so we have to go 11 weeks without our business line which cost a loss of business. We then decided to do all of our business online. I did offer Steve a partial refund and even got his bank information to deposit funds into his Presidental Choice account but the CIBC would not do so. I contacted Steve for his new address since he moved a number of times. We did not hear from him again.
