Frank Garafalo, Allengiance Fence Co. Rip-off! Fraud. Theft. Taking deposits and never returning to do work. Blackwood New Jersey
Frank Garafalo of Allegiance Fence Co. (Home adddress 648 Dettmar Terrace, Runnemede, NJ 08078) took a $2700 deposit check for a deck. He had some lumber dropped off and sent workers to dig the footing holes. After a few days of rain we continuosly called all numbers and got no response.
Visiting his office it appeared the place had been cleaned out. Weeks later we get a call from the workers who dug the holes. They say that Frank Garafalo is having some personal problems and that they are working independently from Allegiance Fence Co. and will finish the job but we have to buy the rest of the wood and pay them the balance of the job, which is $1700.
They say that Frank Garafalo owes them 2 weeks of wages and they are just trying to work. They give me 3 names and numbers as references, people who are in the same situation and have contracted these workers to complete the work.
I call these people to learn that they are out thousands. Left with holes for fences, unfinished decks or nothing at all. Who knows whats going on. My attorney and I both sent letters that have gone unanswered. I will file a report of theft. If I have the work completed by the independent workers then it will cost me about $5000 for a deck that was originally quoted for $4400. Regardless, all I got from Allegiane Fence Co. for my $2700 was $600 in lumber and 5 holes in my backyard.

well let me start off by saying i never ripped anyone off,sandra had her deck completed by allegiace fencing in 2004 ,there was a rought period i went thru back in 2004,if you knotice she was the only person complaining,a fence man never opens holes up ahead of time, but when your putting in a deck you have to drill holes for footers,for inspection thats number one,and yes she got a deck that i charged her 4400 and yes materials were 600 her wood was delivered,see this is a case of a dumb a*s home owner who doesnt know the bussiness,lets see you were gonna pay 5k to get the deck done bye someone else,because i was late with scheduling,the materials were still 600 and they were on site,im posting this rebuttle 10 yrs later,i did do her deck and it was finsished bye allegiance fencing and frank garofalo,um there is such a thing as labor sandra,you say all you got was 600 in material and holes and my workers didnt finish you job i did,did you ever come back and say i finished your deck,i need this taken down,seriously
