This person - Fred Herrmann (eBay User Name fritzherrmann) likes to buy things from people, use them, and damage them while doing so, then file claims with eBay Resolution Center to get his money back!  I'm not the only one he's done this to either, check out eBay members 315dfw12 and anythinguneed789 to see how this scammer likes to operate!

This particular item was a Mint Callaway Golf driver (eBay item # 110627712590).  After receiveing the item on 12/31/10 the buyer/scammer left positive feedback on 01/04/11.  That's where the real "fun" began.  He then filed a complaint and started contacting me on 01/12/11 claiming that the club was counterfeit and he wanted a refund.  He uses threatening, incoherent, and profanity-laced emails to try to intimidate the seller into caving in to his requests.  He sent numerous emails stating it would be "no problem to take the club in for Callaway to verify, as he only lives 1/2 hour away."  Of course he never followed through with this threat because we both knew the club was legitimate!  Instead he continued to use it!  This is evident from all the wear, scratches, and skymarks on the club when it was finally returned to me on 01/27/2011, almost a full month after he received it and started using it.  He didn't know it but I had/have the original order form from when it was ordered DIRECTLY through Callaway Golf, and what he sent back was the identical (100% Authentic) club I shipped him, only all beat to hell and not anywhere the same value as he received it.

I am not filing this report to try to clear my name, as I easily won my appeal with eBay Resolution Center on 01/31/11, got all my money back AND the damaged club to try to re-sell.  I'm only doing this so that other people will hopefully not fall victim to this low-life!  Avoid selling to him, or having anything else to do with him for that matter - I'm realatively certain that his lying, scamming, unethical business traits probably carry over into the rest of his life.  I don't know why he has to use profanity and make threats - probably compensating for a small p***s or oedipus complex - just be warned to avoid!

Please heed my warning that this guy is retaliating for negative feedback I left him on Ebay. Sad that I do the right thing and this is what I get...something obviously wrong with the system when the perpetraitor can have more power than the victim because of a glich in our free market speech!

He got his fake club s back in the same shape they arrived! I have 104 transactions with 100% positive feed back on Ebay user name Fritzherrmann

There alot of fake golf clubs being sold on Ebay and it has happened to me three times now. Its easy to tell, just take them down to your local golf shop and compare them to the real thing!

Don't let this guy fool you as ebay refunded my money and I gave back his fake club and how he could make anybody believe his ridiculus story is beyond me!!!
