Freedom Resource ripoff swindlers screwed Woodstock Georgia
I was offered a credit card with 0 interest for a processing fee of $221.95 in October 2002 and told to wait 15-20 days to receive the package. 20 days came and went and no package arrived. I called them and after being on hold forever I was told their was a delay and it was shipped yesterday and to wait another 15 days. I waited another 15 days and no package. I know they have my address correct because I have to verify it everytime I called. I called again they said it had not be shipped yet because of the Christmas rush and they were being processed.
I told her I was told it was shipped yesterday when I called 15 days ago and of course she had no explaination. I gave up and tried to get my money back, which is impossible. They have an excuse for everything.
I was faxed a transaction reversal on 1/10/03 and told wait 72 hours. I waited 72 hours and called and then was told 72 hours to process 7 to 10 days to show at the financial instition.
I called every other day of thoses 10 days to make sure it was indeed processed and was told yes it will be there in 10 days. I called 1/23/03 to make sure again and I was told it will be there tomorrow. I called 1/24/03 and was told they don't do reversals anymore. And no one had any idea why 5 seperate customer service reps didn't tell me in that 10 days that the company doesnt do reversals just that it garented it would be in my account in 10 days. Now they want to send me a manaual check to the address that they couldn't get the package to.
Do not let them scam you. Don't let it happen to you because you won't get your money back.
