Freedom Resource ripoff, lying, never fulfilled promises Woodstock Georgia
A day before Thanksgiving this last year I received a phone call from Freedom Resource. I was in the middle of cooking and trying to tend to my 7 month old son.
In a hurry thinking a $2,500 credit limit sounded really good. Especailly right before Christmas. They told me I would recieve my card 10 days after they debited mt account.
After thining about this I decided I would cancel this. I did not have the money. I am single mom barely making it.
So I called and called. Each time I was put on hold forever. I could never get them to help me.
They said they would take the 221.95 on the 20th. The did not. So I thought I was in the clear. I then found out they took it out on the 23. I had to borrow money from a friend because it made me have a negative account.
I then called to ask them for a refund. They said it would take 30 days to send me a piece of paper to request my refund. Then it could take up to 90 days to recieve my refund, minus a processing fee of 24.95.
I finally sent my request in Feburary. It is now April. And nothing is in my hands.
I have tried to call numerous times and all it says is that all the circuits are busy or it gives a busy signal. I am a busy working single mom. I need my money AND I want my money back.
