Freedom Shield Didn’t honor warranty Dallas Texas
In October 2017 , I purchased a 2012 Freightliner with a Cummins engine threw Frerdom truck Finance . I was advised that the finance company wanted me to purchase there platinum maintenance plan threw Freedom Shield for 1 year to insured any engine failure. This maintenance plan was $5000 which was applied onto the finance contract . After 8 months the engine blew & need a engine overhaul . getting a quote, maintenance records , photos & ECM readings , they were sent to Freedom Shield . There responds back to me through email was that the evidence revealed that I didn’t maintain proper maintence on the truck & had 1950 fault codes . The rebuild cost 13700 and the claim was denied & this is the same scam that they use over & over again to get you purchase the warranty and when you have major engine trouble they refuse to pay or contribute towards to getting your truck fixed
