Upon checking my checking account statement, I discovered a charge of $12.97 from IC *freeshipping.com. I did not recoginize this company.

After doing some research, I learned that this company is a problem for many people. I did not sign up for this program so it is infuriating that a charge was taken from my personal checking account.

It is also infuriating that there isn't a way to cancel/unsubscribe via the internet, only a phone number. And I've read that even after calling, people are unable to get a refund. Shady!

We're sorry to hear about the confusion regarding our membership fee. We offer new users a 7-day free trial so they can claim their introductory bonus and get a feel for how our site works. If you do not cancel within your trial period, your membership continues at the $12.97 monthly subscription fee our members pay to access our online savings benefits. Information regarding the 7-day free trial and the membership fee thereafter is stated on the sign up page, directly above where users enter their credit card information. It is also in our terms of use, which must be agreed to before completing the sign up process, and in the welcome email each new member recieves after joining.

All of our members are subject to the $12.97 monthly fee, charged to the same credit card information that's voluntarily inserted at sign up. Only members who complete the sign up process and give us permission to charge their card are billed the monthly fee. We do not obtain credit card information any other way. 

You may log into your account at any time and cancel on your own terms. You can do this by clicking the "help" tab on your homepage. There, you can select the option "cancel membership" and finalize your request. You can also cancel by contacting our customer service phone number or email.
