Some diamonds have cracks in them when they are made.. unless it is 100 percent perfect they can have cracks in them.. it all depends on the quality of it.. not all diamonds are perfect.. i have a diamond ring that i got that cost 500 dollars and it has a small crack in it but u can only see it if u are examing the ring close up or under a microscope.. check the apprasial on the ring. it will tell u the quality on the ring..

I'm not sure I understand how it is the store's fault that you cracked your diamond after three plus years. You've obviously had it long enough to have noticed if it was like that when you bought it. The store cannot be held responsible if you choose not to protect your investment and treat it properly. It amazes me how people mistreat jewelry and then try to blame the jeweler. A diamond is the hardest gem, to crack it you really have to try hard. So again, why are they responsible for your lack of responsibility?
