Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was at Fuccillo Kia of Wesley Chapel on 9/3/2016. I was there with my girlfriend and son. Our salesman name was Bobby. We told him upfront we was rebuilding our credit and had been to Bill Bryant Kia in Leesburg Florida and they approved us for a car for 1,000 down and our car. He said they could see what they could do. They decided that with $150 cash down and $850 check they hold would put us in a car. We had been at the dealership for six hours. Then after they take our check to hold and our debit card for the $150 cash down they tell us that they need more time since we had been turned down at Bill Bryant Kia. Well Bill Bryant Kia told us we was approved. So they finally give our car keys back as felt we was being held hostage. They also said if we did not get approved we get our deposit back guaranteed. Bobby also told us our money be back into our account in a hour. We get home to Leesburg about a hour or so drive and look at our bank statement online to see they charged us two $150 transactions. We then decided to cancel the deal as we had not even been shown a car by Bobby. So we drive down there on 9/5/2016 to cancel our deal. Well Bobby brings in his sales manager Adelso. Well Adelso says they need our bank statement for proof of income. So we print off our bank statement and then Adelso said he looked at our entire months bank statement which I think is a violation of my privacy. He asked me why we had two deposits besides our social security disability checks. He said do you have a side job dealing drugs which I really did not appreciate at all. Was getting really upset told him want our deposit money back we don't want to do business with you. So he gives us back our check says he needs the debit card to. refund the money. He comes back with a refund receipt of $150. I said what about my debit card back he said oh I guess you want that back to. So we get home I check the bank statement online and guess what instead of refunding me $150 they take out another $150 without my permission that's fraud and stealing. Been on phone with them all day on Tuesday and Wednesday. Getting different stories by different people. So am now out $300 not happy at all. Adelso says on 9/6/2016 that he guarantees the money will be put back into my account on 9/7/2016 or he put the money in my account himself. Guess what no money in my account from them and he did not put the money in my account like he promised me. Then the general manager gives me stories saying he email me proof they have refunded me the money right away. Guess what no email from him another lie. He also tried telling me I did not have the law on my side about it being theft as they have signed credit card payment from me. I said do you have signed credit card payments saying I told you to hold out $450 out of my account. He did not answer as I said I want proof you do email them to me please. Guess what no email imagine that. And I have talked to the sheriff department and the highway patrol of Florida and they both agree it's theft as they did not have my permission to withhold the other $300 they did besides the $150 I did sign for. The general manager said I was being rude and hung up on me. Yes I did yell but was really tired of the lies and deceiving us and stealing from us. Have filed formal complaint with the state attorney general office along with the federal trade commission plus better business bureau and the florida consumer protection agency. Am done with their lies and misrepresentation along with deceptive business practices and stealing from me. Am very upset about this.Yes I did use a MasterCard debit card.

The proper order of events when purchasing an automobile from a dealer:

  1. See vehicle
  2. Test drive vehicle
  3. Negotiate price
  4. Seller creates Bill of Sale
  5. Buyer pays deposit

For some reason you agreed to put #5 before #1 [and #1 never transpired]. You displayed desperation, which encouraged them to cheat you.
