Future Horizons fraudulent interview scam to sell product ripoff Glendale California
I was contacted via phone by Sara at Future Horizons regarding their need for staff for their expanding L.A. market. She stated a need for independant sales reps as well as leadership possiblities for recruiting and training teams of sales reps. She asked for me to come in professional attire for a company overview & meeting with teammates. I made a tentative appointment then looked online to find info on the company and found numerous complaints against them. Next, I called back and cancelled my interview.
Thanks to this site, I saw this was a scam. For future reference, Future Horizons is scouring Monster.com for targets as that is how they found my information. Might I add, sales rep is not in my background, so they are definately looking everywhere for people. I hope this report will help others in avoiding a useless interview so they can focus on finding worthwhile job!
