Future Sound Mark Liggett (owner) Stole $1200, NEVER delivered product or service!!!! Wintersville, Ohio
Mark Liggett told me he could build and install a nice audio/video sound system in my truck for $1200. I paid him for his services, got a receipt and was told to return 2 days later where he would do the full install. I expressly said I wanted a CLEAN install. No wires showing, no bad trim plates, etc. I want it to look pro. He said he was a world champion (which he is) and he would do it right for me.
On the day I was to have the materials installed, he called and told me to wait until Monday of the next week. On that Monday he called and said to wai until Tuesday, and so onfor over a full week after I paid him.
Once I finally got a time and date set I dropped my truck off at 9am to have the work started. I got my truck back at 10pm. 12 hours to do a 2 hour install. When I got in the truck and started driuving I noticed something called alternator whine. That is caused when an amplifier is not grounded correctly in the vehicle. You hear interference through your audio system.
I lived with it for a couple of days until it got so bad I had to have it checked. I could not get him to look at it. So I did. The grounding screw was NOT secured to clean metal as it should be AND the wiring job under my carpeting was A MESS AND A HALF! Bundles and bundles of wires STUFFED in giant black taped balls under my carpet. On top of that the tweeters, compnents set and rear back up camera was NOT installed as HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE. They were not even there at all!
I had to physically remove the seats and carpet form the truck and fix it all. I install car steros as well, but after a car accident and some health issues i wanted someone more capapble and experienced to do this job. Bad mistake.
I fixed the wiring, ground, and alternator whine issues and then 3 days later the Power Acoustik 7" flip out dvd player head unit wen out. On Monday, Decemer 30th 2009 he told me to bring in the truck and he would replace the defective head unit with a new one. He took out the broken unit and then told me to bring my truck back about 6 hours later. I did, and was told that they did not have a working replacement to reinstall. He said he had ordered it and it would be in Wed, the 2nd of December.
Well, now it is the 4th of December and I am being told he does not have access to a working head unit at all so now I have NO head unit in my truck period and he has no idea when he can get one. However, Sears, K-Mart, Best Buy, First Class Customs, and 3 other stotes IN MY AREA all have the unit.
I paid $1200 and got LITERALLY $200 worth of materials and NO LABOR since I had to reinstall all the wiring myself.
I have nothing now to show for my money but a giant hole in my dashboard.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

This is simple.
Mr Liggett handled the issues completely. The person who caused the problem at Future Sound was terminated. All issues with the stereo system were fixed FAST and correctly by Mr Liggett himself, and he did it in a way that proves he was VERY deserving of his world championship titles. I have known Mark for 13 years and honestly I feel bad about having to post anything about his business at all, but because of his employee (who caused problems with numerous other customers) I had too. because of this, Mark has suffered loss of business and reputation. I am here to attempt and reverse that because after I went back to him to talk to him personally he was nothing more than professional and friendly (even after all my complaining). I cannot recommend him more for your car audio needs. I am floored by his professionalism and ability to correct other peoples' mistakes like he does. I apologize to him here for anything I have caused to make him lose business, and I want everyone to know he is the best int he business and I will continue to go to him from now on. Thanks, Mark! You kick a*s.

I wanted to show you all exactly what I paid for and what I received so you can be aware of what is going on here.

But wait, remember, I had to tear the truck apart and REINSTALL the entire system myself again anyway to clean up the wires and fix the bad ground.
What did I pay for???!!!!!
