I would like to bring to your attention a web designer by the name of Gabriel Torres who resides at 4525 Dean Martin #808 Unit Tower 1 Las Vegas, NV 89103. His phone # is 702.688.9673 702.688.9673 and his email address is [email protected]. Mr. Torres is the owner of Rage Productions, who my brother I had the misfortune of doing business with.
On March 31, 2009 we signed a contract with Mr. Torres. The contract stated that the launch date for completion of the site would be 20 - 40 days from the signing date. Total cost for the website was $7200.
We made our first 3 payments of $1500 each within the 60 days of signing the contract. Unfortunately Mr. Torres failed to honor his end of the agreement and was nowhere near completion of the site as he had stated in the contract. He continuosly lied and mislead us in regards to progress being made. Several times we had stated it is imperative completion is on time because of launch parties that we had previously scheduled. Mr. Torres was well aware of the launch parties and claimed that he could complete the project within the time allocated.
The credibility of Mr. Torres became even more questionable after his former assitant Jesus, warned us of his scam, irresponsibilty and criminal track record. Jesus stated that Mr. Torres has received over $100,000 from different clients who have not had their projects completed.
Nearly four months had past and little progress had been made on the site despite Mr. Torres agreeeing to have it completed within 20 - 40 days. On July 23, 2009 I met up with Mr. Torres and we both signed a contract stating that he would repay us $4,000 within 30 days and our business relationship would be severed.
Mr. Torres gave me a check for $1500 that day and then was delinquent on the remaining $2500. Months later, after continuous efforts on our part, he had finally paid us an additional $1500. The incriments were $100, $200 and $300. He still owes us a balance of $1,000.
Our site completion was drastically delayed due to the irresponsibliity and criminal behavior of Mr. Torres. Our launch parties were cancelled. In addition the $4,000 that he agreed to repay within 30 days still has a balance as previously mentioned.
To make matters worse, Mr. Torres takes credit for completion of our site on his website which is: www.snapsweb.com. This is plagarism and he is misrepresenting our company through his site.
We have spoken to other companies who have had similar nightmare scenarios in dealing with Mr. Torres. He is a menace to society and needs to be dealt with immediately before he harms anymore people. His actions are unacceptable.
We take pride in work, family and community. Both my brother and myself are involved in charitable groups and strive to make Las Vegas a better place to live and work. Please adhere to this problem appropriately so that justice is served and this does not reach an epidemic level.
