Because I am somewhat Internet aware, have built several websites, and have dabbled in the Internet sales field, I was invited to an all day storesonline seminar today. I was quite impressed and furthermore surprised to see how many people were allowing the sales team to process their financial application so early in the seminar. The team was somewhat impressive, and they had some seemingly great ideas, like, how to market your business over the Internet, search engine placement, etc. Toward the end, they really pushed the pay 2 click, a feature offered by Overture dot COM. Unfortunately, when I got home and did some investigating on my own (Trying to find Storesonline on the Internet) they were not found unless I typed in Storesonline. What did that tell me? They do NOT market they way they are supposedly training the public. They do not practice what they preach. If there method is so fool proof, why did my friend who invited me come to find about them through direct mail? Why cant you find Stores online when you do a search for say, Have an internet store? Why on Overture, does storesonline not pay for placement like they suggest we do? Why dont the title, keywords, and descriptions replicate on THEIR homepage as they suggest? They boasted on how this is the all-important KEY to getting in the search engines!! ANYTIME, a firm wants $$ from you today, or tomorrow the deal wont be there, is usually going to be a scam. Urgency is one of the things con artists use to get the upper hand on their victim. I feel sorry for all the people who fall for the Storesonline deal and fail. I hope you get your money back.

I have purchased the workshop package and have been given the sale pitch on the mentoring program or Team Success. I would like to contact as many people as I can who have more information about this program, either good or bad, before I decide to take the next step... or not. Please post your comments.
