Gary came into our store and talked with us for about 45 minutes. After showing his ID and the like to prove he was who he said he was,he said that there was another man going around using his name and his art in order to get business. He showed us a booklet with pictures of all the art he had done for people and around the area. We agreed that he would do 3 portait like designs for our front window and gave him a deposit of 60.00$ as a deposit on $120.00 order.
We gave him 2 comic books and a poster to do the work.That was on 7/24. He agreed to be back with the sign the following week. Gary never came back to our store & has not returned our phone calls.After numerous calls with no return calls or pick ups we are now forced to go to the police and possibly file a civil su it. Do not trust this man. As this seems to be a pattern. He does give a reciept with his name and dress and phone number on it.
