I purchased a Grandfather Clock from Mr. Maples in July of 2013, it was delivered in November of 2013. The Clock was damaged upon arrival, I did not notice the problem with the Clock until 2 weeks later. I called Gary Maples and he said he would exchange the Clock for me. He came in February 2014, while I was away on business and told my wife that he would replace the Clock within 2 months. I had ordered another Clock for my daughters wedding, as a gift so I had no reason not to believe him. Well 2 months turned into 2 years and I finally received a replacement, that was not close to the Clock I had. He told me to hold it because his distributors were building another run of clocks. In August 2016, he asked to take the Clock I was holding because mine was on the way, This was my mistake because he had no intention of replacing my Clock, in January of 2017 I filed a complaint for grand theft with the Suffolk county police department, I have also tried to get the Vermont State police involved but they are completely useless. I was told that an arrest warrant has been issued for Gary Maples in the State of New York, which can only be rescinded by me if full restitution has occurred. So Gary, please come to New York and get pulled over by a New York State trooper or other law enforcement they have some nice jewelry for you. Also I should have mentioned he is no longer answering phones or emails so that is what brought me to get the police involved. Also I would love to know where Mr. Maples is, if anyone knows please respond to this and I will take care of this without need of any police department. Also please do not do any kind of business with this larcenist. Thank you for reading my story
