PRINCE GEORGE,#2UPDATE EX-employee responds
Mon, January 31, 2005
I used to work for the worthless company that you wrote about. Just for clarificaiton, I am not a big fan of them after getting laid off after giving them 8 years of my life. If you truly what the best support that Gateway has to offer, then you need to get to the Emergency Response Team (ERT). To do this, simply write a letter to the company and address it to Ted Waitt. You could also try to email them. I do not know if they would answer an email or not, but it is worth a try. Send the e-mail to [email protected]

If you took two minutes to visit the Gateway site, as I just did, you would see that model 3200SE (there is no 3200S listed) is the CHEAPEST (currently $399.99) one they sell. You would also notice that it CLEARLY ships with the Intel Celeron D Processor. In fact, NONE are shown to ship with a "Cyrix" processor. As far as I can tell, Gateway sells ONLY Intel products. If you had wanted one with the Intel Pentium 4 Processor, you could have opted for the SECOND CHEAPEST unit (model 3250S) for $100.00 more. Gateway provided the very inexpensive computer that YOU chose to order.
