I am an emplyee of the lower floor of GCI and this report cant be further from the truth. First of all they started the report by acting as a homeowner and shortly switched to an employee who basically just called us n**i's.
In regaurds to her dislike for Tim saying that he backstabbed his way to the top is completly false. Tim was our IT manager and when perry decided to quit to be closer to his kids. The management team let him know he was the new maanger even though he had no interest in the position. She also complains that all he does is yell. Well if you do your job correctly there is no reason to be yelled at.
As for the pay gap when you apply to GCI Solar it specifically says part time or full time. Do not complain about what was clearly in the job title when you applied. She also fails to be correct about the bottom floor people making more money that them. The first floor employees do not make any kind of bonuses what so ever and have no opportunity to make them as of right now. We are ok with this as we are paid for the job we are expected to do. You can not complain that the finance employee who has a degree from a 4 year college make more than a telemarketer. Or the Electrical Manager who has taken over 20 years worth of Classes/test to have all of the certifications in order to sell/install solar. Then you can take the Production coordinators who started in either the field or warehouse and have worked there way up in to job that pays less than 15 percent more than there starting job at the company. Dont be so judgementle about the pay gap when you have no idea.
Sure everycompany may have management issue but ours does not have anything to the degree that this person had posted. Also if you want your review to looked at in a professional manner you might not want to refer other emplyees as n**i's when you have not met or talked to any of them in person. It is very disrespectful.
