Complaint Review: GE Capital Bank - Nationwide

 I recently filed out an application for a loan of $1000 and received many calls from banks sayin 2 give me more than than i asked for. Now im a 20yr almost done with college with a very good credit score. When i was offered more than i appliee for i didnt think anything of it. GE Capital Bank caight my eye offering me $5000 and said i would have that back within an hour. It was be $150 monthly fee and low interest. This is my 1st time doing any kinda of loan. I accepted the offer and the person who was handling my loan name was Alew Joans and he always called from 941-444-6482. Alex told me that his "accounting dept. had to assure i was financial able to pay so that require me to send $220 through moneygram via online. He assured me that I would b refunded my $200. I told him i didn't get paid from my part time job for another week. So he said he would call me back when i aquired the funds. When i aquired the funds he called and asked me to send a moneygram to the name Richard James Tomas. When i sent the money he said my funds would be deposited into my account within an hour and i was all set. The next day he claimed my wire number to my account was wrong, so alex said they had 2 transfer the funds through Western Union. I questioned him and said why cant you donit through moneygram as i did for them. He gave me alot of nothing and just explaining the situation to me like i was slow. I final just gave up on arguing. He told me that there was a fee to send the money through Western union which was $235 and i had 2 send it through moneygram once more with a different receiver name. Moneygram wouldnt allow me 2 do any more transactions online and stated i must go to a store but not tell me why i couldnt send any money through the web site. I eventually was able to find a location that did money and sent the $235 plus the 11.50 fee. I gave him the reference number just as a did the dirst time and he staed he would call me back with the confirmation number to pick up my money from Western Union. Alex called me an hour later saying they couldnt release my confirmation number until i payed some government tax fee. I explained to Alex that i had already give all of my money to them and borrowed some from my boyfriend. I told him i was completely broke n wouldnt be payed for another 2 weeks. He then asked is there any1 else ultou can borrow from or did i have a savings i could go into. I got furious and said i have no money and no one to borrow from. He said that he could put the application on hold for a week or so and i should call back when i had the money for the government tax fee which was $248. I later took money from tips i aquired from my 2nd part time job, all of my savings, and some money from my boyfriend to pay the tax fee. It was of course through moneygram and with a different receiver under the name of Tonya Rosa from FL. Alex no longer handle my case and i was dealing directly with the accounting dept. Once he received my reference number he said he would call me back with the confirmation number. I never received a call but i assumed it was because it was past closing time, which was 6:30 pm. Normal Alex would call me every day between 8 or 9am and constantly throughout the day. But i never got a morning call so i called the accounting dept to speak with Dave Maxwell, who was handling my loan. A female answered the phone and when i told her i didnt get my confirmation number she asked me to hold while she look up my account. Then a male answered the phone and was talking really fast not listening to what my problem was and just said they will send it out, its just processing. He then hung up and i have yet to hear from them even though i have tried calling many times.
