GE Money, GE Money Bank I have been raped and robbed of my dignity. Where do I go from here? Atlanta Georgia
I first learned there was a problem last year when for some unknown reason my Home Depot Account credit limit went from $2500 to $1400. I never received a letter and did not know until I went to pay the bill on-line. The minimum balance was significally more and then I saw why. I always try to pay more than the minimum. I emailed them and was told due to my credit. Shortly after that i noticed my Dillards went from $7500 to $2100.
I was rated RI on both of these accounts. Then they lowered Walmart. I also had Linens N Things and Finger Furniture (Both out of business now). The minimum payments due are way more than I can afford. I will never be able to pay them off. I am mostly saddened by Dillards because I always paid them like clockwork since 1989. I purchased many trips throughout the years and had excellent credit. I ran my credit report last year and it was very good.
Now my credit is ruined and I am being harrassed many times during the day at work and at home. I even sent a letter to them to stop but they continue. My health is not good right now. I had surgery last year and have a bad mobility problem due to severe spinal stenosis. I cry at the drop of a hat due to the stress. I am desperately trying to hold on to my job but cannot be stressed out like this.
I am so sad that I will never shop at any of those major stores again but anything owned or managed by GE is not acceptable because they are hurting the people that have worked so hard to build their credit. My credit is important to me but I am not the only one complaining of their actions.
