My friend told the salesman she wanted a dependable car with air conditioning. They sold her a volkswagon beetle that had no working air-conditioning unit and didn't fix it as they implied they would. The car broke down two times within a 15 day period. Her numerous attempts to return the car or atleast communicate with them were ignored. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. THE CUSTOMER WAS NOT THEIR MAIN CONCERN HERE!

Did the friend take this car on a test drive? Did the friend check out each and every accessory to be certain they all worked especially the air conditioning since the desired goal was working A/C? One would think if the buyer wanted working A/C, they would check to see if the A/C was functional. Was this car sold with a warranty or was it an "AS IS" purchase? If it was an "AS IS" purchase, why would you or your friend expect free warranty service? Did the purchase contract give the buyer the right to bring back the car? If not, why would you or your friend even remotely think that was going to happen?
