Geeks On Call ripoff NO possible way to succeed with this franchise Norfolk Virginia
I've been a computer tech for over 7 years. I also have a BS in Business. I did what I thought was extensive research on the geeks on call franchise, including here on the internet, of course. Unfortunately I didn't find these posts until I was looking to do the same.
It's been over since months since I believed Walter Ewell, Tim Holidia and Cheryl Freely's BS, signed the papers and sent away my $20,000. Six months, I could have done better on my own. I thought, more than anything else, the advertising would get me the clients that I couldn't get on my own - WRONG! There's so much competition in the San Francisco area, even with the "Geeks on call" name, it's been impossoble. The few home computer calls I've been on don't even cover the weekly fees! And home calls are all I've received.
I'm not an MBA, but with my experience and education, if I can't make money with this, nobody can. I'm still working on getting my money back so without disclosing too much, I'd like to agree with these posts and let anybody who may be more fortunate than I and find these posts before joining know - it's impossible, do not invest in geeks on call!
