After signing up for my new Geico policy covering one of our company trucks I called geico again to discuss my policy limits and coverages as I have with my local insurance broker in the past. In the same conversation I mentioned that I would like to research the possibility of adding some more vehicles to the policy but was not sure if a new policy was required or would the same policy sufice for the intended future use. The discussion from the Geico representitive went completely aggressive and one sided. Employee number 177857 (Melissa) was there for one reason and one reason only. That was to inturpet the conversation, apply specific coverages and to drive the costs to many many times my initial contribution. A 10 min conversation turned into a defensive 45 min conversation with statements from me to Melissa that all transactions were NOT authorized and that the conversation was simply to gather information. After numerious statments from me specificly saying"I do not authorize any changes to my policy at this time" the changes were made anyway driving my costs to unbelievable levels. Truth be known about these unsavory tactics and I strongly suggest that no consumer subject themselves to the stress and hardship I have endured. Amex is dealing with this now but we all know that the Geico theifs will steal my funds in a strongarm fassion as I sit here as another notch in their belt. Down with these dirtbags.

Your narrative is difficult to follow. I think what you are saying is that you had a rather over zealous salesperson on the phone. For multiple company fleet vehicles, you need a fleet policy. And since you mentioned a broker, sinc that is HIS job, talk to him-let him do the work for you. That is what he is being paid for.

When you get your policy, all coverages and their individual costs are listed. Look at them carefully and for that which you do not understand, ask the broker-he will explain it to you.
