I appreciate your comments and one of my points was that two Geico representatives told me I would be reimbursed for these fees. I was told this from my first phone call from Geico. I work for a large corporation myself and if we tell someone something, then right or wrong, we have to back it up. Thanks again for your imput regarding state laws.

Insurance is State Regulated, so if your state doesn't cover things that other states do you need to be talking to your State Representatives about getting the regulations changed.
Also, you have to remember that insurance companies don't pay for anything. If they are "covering" something..someone..somewhere is paying for it. So you can bet that if they are covering this item, this "courtesy" is already imbedded in the insurance premium that they are charging customers. But even if they weren't it is not a RipOff if a company does not cover it, nor is it discrimination.
By the way..there is nothing that says instead of trying to settle with their insurance company that you can't sue the driver for ALL of your damages. Because if you prevail in court you can guarantee that they will get Geico to pay or will end up paying you themselves. It is sometimes a bit of a hassle for some people, but it can also be worth it
