Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Be very careful w this company; the money you "save" by possiby lower premium payments may cost you dearly if your car is stolen. Months have passed since my vehicle was stolem in high-car-theft area. After the statements, taped phone conversations, meetings with their reps, still no pay. Unfortunately now it has gotten to ins commissioner complaints, hired attorney at my expense, credit plowed. Dealing with this company after switching for lower premiums and NO PRIOR CLAIMS has been a nightmare. Oh yes, I am very much certain that they use algorithmic profiling in handling theft claims..flagging any area possible to stall/deny payment of claims--non White-Ango-Saxon-Protestant, ethic indication of last name, sex, marital staus, FICO score all comes into play when a claim is filed....funny-- they liked processing my premium payments for years; they will TAKE anyone's hard-earned dollars...little did I know how very much I paid for a small piece of paper to carry in the glovebox. Aparently your prmium moneies go outrageously-priced celebrity endirsements (Complaint has also been reported to screen actors guild). Question in the short-term is, how does the trauma nurse now get to the ER to take care of folks in trouble? Will the claims processers take care of you, you parents and your children? Or the celebs as well when I work in Los Angeles and see them as patients? I doubt it. The sad thing is, the higher-ups at the co must think they are immune from personal setbacks/ disaster and, apparently of God's judgment. From the things that this writer has seen for some twenty years now, in the Emergency Room--- how really thin the ice is that we as human beings collectively skate upon-- I must say odds would be algorithmically against conference of immunity of that kind. Thank you Mr. "Nicely," CEO. It feels particularly "Nice" to be ripped off by "your" insurance company. I thank you, my family, friends, colleagues and patients thank you as well. AMERICAN PUBLIC...STAY/GO AWAY FROM THIS CO.

That makes sense. The company will spend thousands upon thousands of dollars to develop a system by which they can "algorithmically" deduce who is not a white protestant male and then screw them? Seriously?? Honestly, it's not right for an insurance company to not pay a legitimate claim. But I can tell you from my experience as a field adjuster for GEICO and other companies what has happened is your claim probably had numerous "red flags." Red flags are situations that indicate possible fraud. Due to the high percentage of theft/vandalism claims that are at least partially fraudulent, EVERY theft claim gets a high degree of scrutiny. Other red flags are things like a recently started policy, no police report/witnesses, prior claims, weird circumstances, etc. There's a lot of red flags. I don't have any love lost for GEICO, but I can say with all honesty that there are no institutionalized racist policies. Does this mean they didn't screw you? Of course not. I'm just saying it is illogical to automatically assume racism when the most likely scenario is poor claim handling or investigation. Here is something to think about also - GEICO is owned by Berkshire Hathaway, which is run and primarily owned by super rich Warren Buffett, who helped our new president as an economic advisor in his campaign. I think it's safe to say that Mr. Obama does not fit your "White-Ango-Saxon-Protestant, ethic indication of last name, sex, marital staus, FICO score" accusation....
