General Savings RIPOFF SCAM SCAM SCAM Clearwater Florida
This company is a SCAM! This company contacted me over the phone in February selling a discount prescription card. If you purchased this discount card for $299 you would be guaranted a $2000 unsecured credit card from either Visa or Mastercard. I signed up for it because I needed the credit card for some expensive repairs I was needing on my car. They stated it would take 20-30 business days before I would receive my packet. It has been almost two months and I have not received anything nor am I able to contact this company by phone anymore. Their phone # sends you to a recorded message that says they're busy and to leave a message. Since their phone mailbox is full you will not be able to leave them a message. Their address given is only a rented mailbox.
Apparently you only have 45 regular days to dispute the claim against this company so once you have waited the 20-30 business days you're time has run out to get your money back. If this has happened to you, contact your bank immediately to dispute the money you paid to them since goods will never be received. If paid by check over the phone, tell your bank that you need to do an ACH return. Your bank can return that transaction and take the money back from them allowing you to get you your money back!!! General Savings is a HOAX. Don't let them run off with your money!
