The reason I'm writing today is, because I myself, along with a slew of others have been treated with an extreme amount of injustice by the said auto dealership. (Please see said dealerships Facebook page and Yelp website). My hope is that the administrators of this site, would please take the time to review the many dissatisfied customers whom have been taken advantage of and put into motion legal action against the said auto dealership.

The auto dealership GENERATION KIA located at 4825 SUNRISE HIGHWAY, BOHEMIA N.Y 11716 PHONE 1 (888) 223-9503 FAX 1 (631) 569-5262 www. GenerationKia.com has reasonably surpassed, what I myself, along with many others a grave misrepresentation of what a reputable auto dealership should possess dealing with the public. The CURRENT OWNER JOE CATALANOTTO, The CURRENT SERVICE MANGER MANNY SELEIRNO and PREVIOUS SERVICE MANAGER MICHAEL CASEY all directly, and or, indirectly misrepresented themselves.

MICHAEL CASEY whom implemented a fraudulent business practice( by attempting to have me put a replacement transmission in my vehicle to make profits, as it was under warranty). I had a licensed mechanic that was present with me at the time of this meeting with MR. CASEY. The fact is my transmission was in fine working order at that time and still is 40,000 miles to the current date. ( As per their current diagnosis of the said transmission last week by said dealership).

During this same meeting April 19, 2016), he further acted in a fraudulent manner by trying to charge me for a $750 rear brake job on my vehicle in which had been done by them along with a front brake job that was also performed after me purchasing their vehicle. These previous brake jobs were performed on (August 17, 2015) only a month after purchasing my used vehicle from them on (July 20, 2015). My rear brakes to this date have been replaced four times in approximately 40,000 miles. MR. CASEY by ignoring the obvious rear end brake issue on my vehicle had me pay hundreds of dollars on brakes that were unnecessary.

I had taken it to another mechanic whom had told me the issue was a faulty brake hose.( I will acquire written documentation from said mechanic). The hose was causing a lack of fluid to the rear caliper causing the complete wear of many brake parts. Dealership owner JOE CATALANOTTO in my meeting with him and current service manager MANNY SALEIRNO stated previous service manager MICHAEL CASEY was “no good anyway”. Also in this meeting MR. CATALANOTTO looked for acknowledging agreement toward current service manager Mr. SALEIRNO that “normal brakes last about 20,000 miles. MR. SALEIRNO agreed. If not selling me a vehicle with obvious poorly conditioned brakes and being proven negligible on the diagnoses of the problem, they also sold me a vehicle that had a failing engine.

On the same date of (August 15) within a month of having the vehicle, I had also made them aware of a progressive ticking sound that was coming from the engine. They refused to address the documented advisement. My vehicle now is burning oil and the ticking and tapping (also their diagnosis as of last week) of the engine has progressed rapidly. I beseech you to please contact me for further advancement on moving forward on this complaint. I have my own records and the public documented testimonies of many that have been treated unjustly by this dealership and their current owner JOE CATALANOTTO.

In a meeting with JOE CATALANOTTO and their current service manager MANNY SALEIRNO, they refused to take responsibility for the dealership selling me a poorly conditioned vehicle at the time of sale. It is my belief, that myself, and others during the time that previous SERVICE MANAGER MICHAEL CASEY was employed by said dealership, many fraudulent practices were put into action to deceive and treat the public unfairly. Thank you and God bless, Dan
