Gentle Dental West Boca Raton, Fl What a rip off!!! Boca Raton Florida
So made an appointment for my husband and my son to go to the dentist . Since my husband doesn't have dental insurance I was quoted $69.95 this was to include a cleaning and x-rays . When I spoke to my husband after his appointment he stated they did not do a cleaning all they did was the x-rays. He stated also that he had paperwork that was over $10,000.00 for work they "recommended." I called the dentist after speaking with my husband and spoke with the office manager who was extremely rude. When I questioned her about the cleaning she stated that was only for a healthy mouth cleaning. I then informed her that should be communicated prior to an appointment being made. I then asked her how much his cleaning would be and she stated that he was given paper work and she couldn't be bothered (I already knew the answer it was $520 much different than the 69.95 I was quoted). As a doctor and owner of two medical facilities this was clear deception on their part. Patients should be clear on what to expect and how much for services. If something is going to be additional that needs to be explained prior to not after the fact. I have since cancelled any future appointments for my husband and my son. This place is a disgusting example of a dental clinic.
