Gentry Finance Royal management Horrible all the way around! Vernal Utah
This company is very rude and belittling to employees. I got hired for 29 hours, but have to be available from open to close, so 3 hour lunches, six days a week, and zero benefits. Good luck taking a personal day ever, or even a sick day! I went to work with high temp and tonsilitis, and if you do get approved, they threaten to replace you, they won't let anyone get more hours to help the office out, they say to hire someone else and replace the person gone. They expect you to get at least 5 loans a day, if not, they want you to stay at work. But never go over your allowed hours. The home office in Texas sends us letters via fax about how horrible we are doing, and if you continue to do 'horrible' then they post your job on Indeed and have the manager interview them to replace you! It is VERY easy to make a mistake in this company, because they use really a really old system and computers and everything is hand written and takes awhile to complete one task, you will be written up for the smallest thing. Home office will let you know you are replaceable. We are required to call the late customers phone, job, and references, threaten collateral, twice everyday! If your slow file (people who are late) is higher than 25% then the manager has to stay more hours, but cannot go over their agreed hours. Im so scared of Mr. Gentry, because this company hires supervisors over your store that have to be mean to you for their job, and everything comes straight from him. He has made people cry, feel worthless and incapable. He will push you to quit so he doesn't have to pay unemployment. This is the worst boss to work for. I advise everyone to stay away from employment here. I worked in a small town office, the economy isn't the best right now, and we try hard, only to be threatened and no benifits. Its not worth the pay or heartache. The best thing about my job was the ladies I worked with. I even put my two week notice in, and was only able to work a day before they said to leave as soon as my replacement got there.
