We too have lost pretty close to about 20K with this company. They lied to us in their high pressure sales tactics. They kept us there for over 4 hours, pushing, pushing pushing till we were completely worn down. We signed the papers, we left, they sent us to Auberge du LacMerenci in Quebec. What a joke. We were told that we would never pay our fees in USD and the RCI was part of our membership and there would never be  a separate charge for it. Year after year, trying to call these people to cancel this, we finally had enough, The condo fees are well up over 550 usd per year now and they also want more money for RCI. We have never been to a fairfield resort and we have never used their club. Their people in accounts receivable are arrogant and rude.

This industry must be regulated by the Canadian Government. How many more innocent Canadian consumers are going to be ripped off by their lies, and their double talk and high pressure sales tactics with no way out.

Their lastest demand in collection was for over 5000.00 and plus they are wanting their 535USD in annual dues. This does not include RCI either.

They are scammers, liars! NEVER EVER sign with these people. Where is the Canadian Government and consumer protoection group to help us.

I am all for starting a class action suit against these people for harrassment, breach of contract, and unfair business practice. What they are doing should be illegal. The annual fees have tripled since we first signed our lives away.

HELP!
