getaroom.com This site deceptively appears to be the hotel's legitimate site adhering to the hotel's cancellation policy. However, after stating that the reservation is subject to the hotel's cancellation requirements, it adds that it is non-refundable and they will not modify the reservation, even though the hotel is perfectly willing to change it or refund the payment.
Do NOT book a room through this site. They have their site set to appear that you are inside the official booking site of the hotel property, but it is really this incredibly dishonest site from the Philippines. The cancellation policy appears to be the same as the hotel's official policy, but it is actually a non-refundable, non-modifiable reservation that tacks on exorbitant fees once you hit the confirmation button. When you call, they are rude and say the same things over and over in broken English. If you "escalate" to an email complaint, they write the exact same thing over and over. IT IS A SCAM AND THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!
