Complaint Review: Gina Straw - Sweetpeas - Ladera Ranch California

I don't know if it's against the law, the rules, the policy of this website or not. But it seems to me that there should be severe consequences for malicious people who post people's private phone number and address on this website in the name of WHAT???? Black mail? This is really disturbing and sickening for me to see that the above complaint went through. I am pretty sure that Richard and/or Rip off report can be sued big time for this irresponsible behavior. For one thing, the guy's name is Richard. No last name. Just Richard, as in d**k! Ya, right!!! He doesn't have the guts to put his own phone number and address on there, just Mrs. Straws. So there really is no way to verify whether his story is true or not. There are always two sides to every story. Even if this bologna has any merit to it at all and I believe him when he says he got stiffed on the check, this isn't the forum for that. Take it to small claims court- if you even have a case. Not only is $125.00 such a small sum of money to become a fanatic and stoop so low as to post someone's private information on the web (to hopefully what? cause Mrs. Straw undo harassment by other "Cyber Bullies"?) Not to resolve the issue, this is in no way going to resolve anything at all, but to maliciously cause harm out of revenge and spite. And who knows what this is really all about. He offers no details. This guy doesn't even say what work he did for her- oh no, he doesn't have to explain anything at all. He doesn't have to prove anything at all. And yet he is permitted to post somebody's private information? So for all we know, he could be completely lying. Or if he is telling a partial truth, he may be one of these all too common "rip off" contractors who came in and did poor work. Maybe he tried to rip "her" off. In this case, Mrs. Straw is the customer, not this crazy freak who obviously has no morals, ethics or conscience. The point is, we just don't know. This guy isn't even a customer of sweet peas. He claims to have done some work for her. It doesn't sound like an employee to me. Who knows? He could be another nut out there- which is the reason posting people's phone numbers and addresses should be taken a little more seriously. It is absolutely frightening that anybody can do something like this and get away with it. This guy should be treated like the malicious jerk that he is, the posting should be removed, and whoever is in charge of this website should appollogize to Sweet Peas and Mrs. Straw. This is just not beneficial to anyone at all and d**k is nothing but a big, fat, rat. The amount of volume that Sweat Peas has done over the years is very large and is a huge responsibility. Mrs. Straw in my opinion is a rare breed of entrepreneur. She and her business has helped people all over the nation work and make money. Her type of business takes a lot of juggling around. She doesn't just sell junk for a profit. She helps people, provides jobs, provides a quality product for the retail market and the consumer. The business model is set up so that everybody wins. Her standards for quality are very high. It has to be that way. This is a business that mostly serves as an opportunity for women to work at home. I really doubt that Mrs. Straw is getting rich from this business. But it is my opinion that she is not in the business of ripping people off and taking people's measily twenty bucks, a hundred bucks, or whatever. It just doesn't add up and it just doesn't make any sense. What DOES make sense is that things do go wrong and problems do arise from time to time. There are proper ways of handling things and I strongly believe that the posting by Richard was inappropriate at the very least and by all accounts, no matter how you look at it, no matter how you reason it out, no matter how you try to rationalize, it is just plain wrong to post something like that in the internet. It looks like there are a few people who have complaints. By reading the complaints, it's hard to tell whether or not what really happened and which ones are legitimate or not. Some of the complaints I have read sound a little petty and makes me concerned about the way some people can become so angry and over-react about what sounds to me like very small misunderstandings. By reading some of the complaints, I can see why these issues may have not been resolved. I am sure Mrs. Straw needs to be compelled to protect herself from all the crazy nuts out there being in a business that deals with the vast population. If somebody that I don't know, I never have seen, could be from anywhere, freaked out on me, called me names, cussed me out and threatened me for a few dollars that got lost in the mail, I would be a little reluctant to deal with them either. I guess that explains why some of these people who want to work for Sweet Peas don't have jobs and are in such desperate situations that they need to -at the drop of a hat- attack the only person who is trying to provide them an opportunity. None of the complaints that I have read constitute that severe of an injustice to react with such venom and spite. I don't see any proof of anything. I don't see any harm that has resulted. I just don't see any crime that warrants the act of posting a persons private information, not her office, but her home, not her business number, but her home number AND her bank account number??!!!!! If d**k wants to post his number and address so that we can investigate his trivial accusation, then I would love to contact him and get this issue resolved like gentlemen. I may even pay him $125.00 myself just to see for myself what a d**k he really is. Otherwise, I would tell the poor bloke to get a job and/or get a life and pull all this bologna off the site. Either that, or I am afraid that this website, THE RIP OFF REPORT, is itself lacking any true credibility and the concept of resolving issues or helping anyone has been defeated without integrity. So editor, at the very least, do your due diligence, do what is right and remove this dirt immediately. Let it be known that you have been warned, that if anybody gets hurt because of this posting, it is your fault and your responsibility since you are supposed to be screening the postings. You will be held accountable just as much as Richard Dickhead! And all the disclaimers in the world will not protect you from negligence, providing a dangerous, preditory environment and promoting (condoning and advocating) blackmail and perhaps even violence or other malicious acts and crimes.
