Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
In December of 2005 placed an order for 2 of the $9.99 TV offer for Christmas gag gifts. A month later, on February 2, 2006 I started receiving unwanted phone calls from GGW, and as of April 14, 2006 I have received 34 calls from this so called company. When I do answer the phone its computer automation saying I have been trying to reach you, please wait. Part of the time the message goes on to say I cannot reach the person you need to speak too; I try again later, and then hangs up. When I call right back, they are closed. So, when I do get GGW rude customer service, I get the same crap, what is your number, we will add you to our Do Not Call list, but the phones calls don't STOP!

My wife has taken the phone calls four times; they are rude to her and then hang up on her. She has quit answering the phone when she sees their number on the caller ID. They have called as late as 9:00pm. The last time I got the computer then a guy comes on the line, saying I was a preferred customer and went to try to sell me more videos.

When I finely got a word in to tell him I have asked to be taken off their list since the first week in February, the guy goes what list, and then hangs up. Since then I have record all conversions. I have filed 20 online complaints against them to the Do Not Call Registry. And called the FTC twice to report what this company is doing. I called the Better Business Bureau of CA 1-909-825-0490. They told me they had 536 complaints against GGW, and are not a member of the BBB. GGW has an F rating with the BBB, the worst rating a company can have. Better Business told me to call the Attorney General of CA 1-916-322-3360 and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) at 1-877-382-4357

By law they have to stop calling. The paragraph below was copied from the Federal Trade Commissions web site http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/dncalrt.htm

By purchasing something from the company, you established a business relationship with the company. As a result, even if you put your number on the National Do Not Call Registry, that company may call you for up to 18 months after your last purchase or delivery from it, or your last payment to it, unless you ask the company not to call again. In that case, the company must honor your request not to call. If they subsequently call you again, they may be subject to a fine of up to $11,000.

Taken Action Now or GGW could call you for another 18 months.

Call the Company and tell them to STOP calling you:

800-689-3666 or 310-566-1063 (Just calling this company is not enough)

Write a certified letter to:

Mantra Entertainment

P.O. Box 150

Hollywood, CA 90078

Register with the National Do No Call Registry at https://www.donotcall.gov/register/Reg.aspx

It takes 31 days after you register to file a complaint.

Try to log all the times GGW calls you and all times you call them, asking to be taken off their calling list. If possible and if your state laws allow, try to record your conversation that you have with them. (Trust me, GGW Don't like to be recorded)

If they Don't Stop calling you call then report your problem to the Attorney General of CA 1-800-952-5225 and (FTC) Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-FTC-HELP (1-877-382-4357)

The Federal Trade Commission will and has taken action against Girls Gone Wild in the past. http://search.ftc.gov/query.html?qt=girls+gone+wild&col=hsr&col=news&col=full

If you're like me you will do any thing to stop GGW from calling, but you must report it to the FTC. After the FTC gets so many complaints against a company they will investigate and take action, so do your part and report it to FTC at 1-877-382-4357
