GLASSMASTERS ripoff took return of items we did not order closed up shop they owe us hundreds of dollars Mechanicsville Virginia
Glassmasters was a maker of stained glass pieces selling on the internet and by phone to dealers for resale. We were long tme customers of these people.
We placed an order in 2004 and we were sent three very expensive pieces we did not order. After months of them not answering emails or voice mails we were finally able to obtain an RMA to send the items back. They received the items and never credited our Visa. After many emails and many voice mails, sometimes twice a week, I called to try and actually speak to a human and the phone numbers had been disconnected.
They STILL have their website up and a way for people to order online, gathering credit card information. The website is still up without any indication that they are out of business. They left all their dealers high and dry and stole almost $400.00 from our small family owned business.
My feeling is that they knew they were going to go under, as my rep was someone new everytime I ordered. When I called the last time a message was on their voicemail that they were overwhelmed because of staff shortages but to leave a message and someone would get back to the caller.
The email address is still live but they do not respond. It looks like I will have to sue them for our money. I am disgusted with these scum bags for stealing our hard earned money after sending us items we did not order and charging our Visa. They dragged out the credit until we could not pursue this with Visa, as too much time had passed. I hope they rot in hell. What an unethical bunch of slime.
