First thing first, I feel it only appropriate you have some form of background on a great company - gone " bad " . I began employment in 2000. We were a sister company to the once financially troubled " Z-tel ". Employees were treated fairly the product was good ( local/long distance service, and was a publicly traded company ) We enjoyed a very healthy wage, great benifits and took pride in the fact that we were helping people save money everyday with a service they used daily. That all changed when we caught wind of financial difficulties with " Z-tel " and the company was bought by " Websmart Interactive ". Some smooth talking, from various members of this " Websmart Interactive " led us to believe we were in good shape , there was still money to be made and that there was plenty of business. I never thought it would've come to this. We ( as a core group, from reps, to trainers, to supervisors to janitors ) were duped into believing that this " Global Financial " was a credit restoration company and that in effect we were " helping " rebuild credit which in turn would help better their lifestyles. And yes , yes it seemed to good to be true , but I mean who would've honestly thought you could con 200 people at the same time, I mean realistically we had no reason not to believe them , our concerns seemed to be addressed daily and nothing at all pointed to this being as big as it is. TO ALL POTENTIAL / and CURRENT CUSTOMERS OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL CUSTOMERS : I would like to extend my sincerest apologies. I know it is of no consolation, please understand that at least in the canadian call center - Saskatoon - 200 hundred people were put out of work as they immediately " ceased opperations " when they couldn 't handle what is now appearing to be a legal backlash. People with families ( such as myself ) are left just as you are, no money , no hope , and no promise of recieving there final paychecks which in my case was well over 2000 $. We have all learned a lesson from this. And on behalf of myself I am truely sorry for your loss and hope in time you will recieve what is coming to you by way of check or cash refunded to you by this " Global Financial ". If that is not the case may i recommend at least that you have the best possible legal representation possible : go to www.lamontlaw.com - email John , he'll steer you in the right direction , otherwise let your friends and family , Attorney General , CongressMan/Woman or anyone else who listen know that " Buzz" doesn t care that you lost your 221.95 $ - in fact he gleefully sits in what I am sure is a lovely home in North Dakota awaiting for the remainder of your checks to be processed so that he may continue the lifestyle he has become accustom to - Now ... I need to, as well as the other 600 ( entire staff that was terminated ) plan our new lifestyle , one that includes waiting for either - Unemployment to kick in - social services emergency assistance , or finding new accomadations as this late in the month means - some were left out on thier a$$, without so much as a crumb of what was owing to them. - God bless all of you , and too Buzz and John , and dont worry noone has forgotten about you DINO - You will get what is rightfully yours, hopefully ( and God-willing ) a lengthly prison sentence.
