Global Financial, Inc totally ripped me off! and took advantage of a desperate mommy! Atlanta Georgia
This so called Co. called me at work!!! They totally scammed me and lied, when they promised me $2,500 master Card ! And took advantage of a desperate Mother . First they said this was not a secured CC, then said there would be a $221.95 processing fee. After several weeks I tried to contact the Co. (After 6 hrs of straight dailing), someone finaly picked up the Phone. I asked for a refund, and was denied, They wouldnt even let me speak to a supervisor!I was told I could get my refund after I recieved and filled out the paper work. Of corse that paper work never came.
My checking account was scammed for the full amount on April 18th 2003, I later found out that this so called Co. was raided and busted! on april 17th!!!! one day before they were allowed to take my money.
I'm the sole provider for my family, My husband is legally blind, and my car is in need of desperate repair! I only fell for there scam, because I needed the credit to cover the cost of reapairs. $200.00 dollars my not seem like alot of money to some people, but to a hard working Mother trying to take care of a 5yr. old girl, and a disabled Husband, its ALOT of money. And since my husband has a small job at a local store, WE do not recieve any help from the Goverment.
The Governers office of consumer affairs, Just notified me, that I may not recieve any restitution. I have file in Georgia
and in my Home state of Michigan. And the OCA is investigating, Golbal financial.
Please don,t allow anybody else to be ripped off by a company like this one. the BBB report was very misleading, and I assumed that this was a legtimate Co. with very few complaints, that were all resloved!!!!!
