Ripped Off By Global Financial. I may have an answer to getting back my money.
In April of 2003 I was ripped off for $221.95 from Global Financial. I read another report online from an individual who had been ripped off too and had been able to contact First Americans' phone number 1-480-785-2262 and got his money back. I called First American today and was informed that yes, Global Financial had been associated with First American but as of May 19th 2003 Global Financial was no longer in business and I was given a fax number from First American and asked that I fax them proof of the money debited from my account and where I could be reached. First American was very helpful and it's worth a try. I get the feeling that First American is trying to save its own reputation by reimbursing people their money.
