You need to purchase a recorder to attach to your phone. Everytime they call, tell them you are recording the conversation. You might further enlighten them that attempting to take money from your checking account without your written permission is considered theft and you will file a formal complaint with the local District Attorney's office. You might also point out to them that you have posted on Rip-off Report so and it would be wise for the caller to find another line of employment...before he/she is standing in the unemployment line.

I'm always amazed when people let themselves get abused on THEIR OWN phone. Just hang up, for Christ sake! Or, better yet, set the phone down on a table for 15 minutes. By the time you come back, the idiot will have hung up. Don't let people abuse you like that! Stand up for yourself, or else the world will use you for a doormat!

They are a persistant group of people aren't they?!! I am updating because in October I got another call from "Carolyn" saying that in June they tried and were unable to get a payment through, but that in September when they tried it went through, but when they tried on October 25th there were insuffient funds and that I needed to deposit the 29.95 in my account so they could get their money. I told "Carolyn" that that would not be happening because I never ordered any magazines through them. We argued for a while and then she brought up the fact that they had me on tape saying "yes" to this deal. She even played it back for me and I honestly could not hear my voice comfirming nor denying this deal. I checked with my bank, which is locally owned, and there was never an EW in September, that I still had a block on that account and that it doesn't expire until December. I just have to wonder how many consumers they have ripped-off and for just how much money they have actually gotten because of the consumers nature to trust what our fellow, or for the-lack-there-of, Americans tell us is to be true. I hope that last paragraph makes since. Just buyers BEWARE!! If you know it not to be true, such as something as this, DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!!

Take your pick!! These are the names that this "company" has given me since my original report in May of '04. I have had several unpleasant conversations with "whoever" over the past couple of months. Of course they are still saying basicly the same thing, but a few things have changed. Instead of just owing them the 3 payments, it went up to 6! EXCUSE ME! This company continues to hassle me over the phone each week. It is so bad I'm thinking about changing me tele# and closing my bank accounts. I'm just fed up with it. I'm amazed at the number of names this company has. Global Living Magazine...Global Overture Media...Honeybee Media. Although the Honeybee Media that I found on the net is some kind of cooperation out of Quebec. I wonder of it is a collection agency of some sort. I would love some feedback if anyone has any on this "COMPANY".
