This company was contracted to ship goods from New England to Europe.

The company picked up my goods in early December 2003 and promised to have them in Europe by the end of December.

In fact, I wa told that the goods were merely moved to a storage center. After 2 months my property has not yet been shipped by this company.

This company is in Breech of Contract and lawsuit shall shortly start. Though they have been fully paid, they refuse to ship my goods. Their excuse is that they are "waiting for a collective shipment to Europe," to place my goods with. However, they have - every week in January promised to me that my goods will be shipped that week - but they never have been. This company has committed fraud and breech of contract.

Though I have been patiently contacting them for weeks by e-mail and phone they refuse to relese my property. Further, no one is available on the phone 90% of the time. This is becoming contructive theft of property.

The Attorney General's office of the State of Flordia shall shortly be notified of this company's crimes.

Recommendation: Do not use this company in any manner.

Blackmailed for a Retraction on my Complaint on Rip-Off Report.

#6Author of original report

BLACKMAIL: This company and it's Director, Eti Cohen, have attempted to BLACKMAIL me into providing a retraction of my complaints made on this website. After shipping my goods to Europe, they told me that they WOULD NOT RELEASE the goods to me UNTIL I retracted my complaint against them on this website !! I was forced to employ a local Attorney to secure my goods under the Hague Convention. Global Ocean Freight's attempts at BLACKMAIL further delayed the delivery of my goods an additional month (after arriving at their destination). Further, Global Ocean Freight, through Eti Cohen, the Director, threatened to sue me, in order to force the retraction of JUSTIFYABLE complaints. I refused, afterall, they are true. The Director threatened and harassed me daily with e-mails for weeks regarding a lawsuit and the making of a retraction. This company in unethical and criminal. BLACKMAIL is without a doubt the last thing one would expect. One would expect to trust the company you entrust all your goods to. GLOBAL OCEAN FREIGHT abuses this trust and adsvantage and prays upon the consumer for their own gain entirely. AVOID THIS COMPANY !! Help put it out of business. To secure my goods in the cheapest manner (and avoid full legal costs, I agreed to retract certain items in my first statement, in exchange for the delivery of my goods (AKA: BLACKMAIL). Adjustment of my first statement: As Global Ocean Freight delivered the goods, I retract the statement of fraud.
