Global Travel International Ripoff Work from home scam Maitland Florida
Global International is a work from home rip-off scam. They bring you in with the idea of running your own business at a monthly fee of $29.99. I started with this company on November of 2005 and around April I called them and told them that I was no longer interested. I was told that I had to continue paying the $29.99 for the entire year. I told them that I would but to cancel my membership ASAP.
During the month of July through December I have been home with my child due an injury and did not have the chance to assure that my membership had been canceled. To my surprise there was a $350.00 charge to my credit card.
When I questioned the charge they denied it and I was told that I will be charged the regular $29.99 per month. I told them that I had cancelled the membership and that was denied too. I was told that I have to pay a $175.00 for early cancellation; I informed them that I will not pay on single penny.
I am not happy with their services and they are ripping the public. Two weeks ago I wrote a letter to the president of the company and as of today I have not received a response. I plan to send a copy of the letter to the Better Business Bureau.
