I ordered a fuel pump back In August of 2012 had it professionally installed by an ASE certified mechanic who is also a certified GM/CHEVROLET Master Technician. The fuel pump operated fine for about 5 months, one morning i got in the vehicle fixing to head to work and it would not start, I called up the same tech who installed my fuel pump and asked him if he could trouble shoot my problem. After about 30 minutes of my vehicle being at his shop he called me to inform me that the fuel pump had seized up and needed to be replaced. I said ok that's not a problem its got a lifetime warranty so I sent it back. Cost me $13 to ship it back priority mail. After about 4 days I get an email from Global Automotive notifying me that the fuel pump i sent back was an unacceptable return. The 2 reasons they claimed unacceptable are "no proff of professional installation" and "damage attributable to vehicle electrical/connector fault". A connector that they send with the fuel pump that was directly installed by a citified GM MASTER TECHNICIAN. Once I contacted Global about the Email the gentleman informed me that they could replace the part that went bad for $28, however when I purchased this item off of Ebay it was showing to have a "Lifetime Warranty" I mean even the local parts store has a 1 year hassle free replacement with there purchase. I might understand if I had this part for over a year and it went out but to not replace this part on an item that's only 5 months old is a little RIDICULOUS....

You said you bought this thing from EBay??? Why would you do that instead of going direct with them to begin with?  Is the guy who installed this willing to supply you with the required proof?  If not, why not?  What then would satisfy them as proof of "proper installation"?  You said local parts stores offer a one year warranty.  Why didn't you get it locally?

"Damage attributable to vehicle electrical/connector fault"...what the hell does that mean?  If the failure was due to a "connector fault" then they have admitted the problem was a defective product!  There's a difference between a defective product and improper installation.  The person you talked to DID NOT say it was due to improper installation.
