Globe Movers Ripoff! Collected destination fees and never paid agent for them at destination! Sunrise Florida
Globe Movers was hired to pack and ship our household goods for shipment from Boca Raton Florida to Sweden. The shipment was done in December of 2002. The shipment arrived and was put into storage until we could find a home. When we notified the local agent that we were ready to schedule the delivery, he said that they have not been for it!
He said that he has been trying for months to collect the fees but no one has answered his emails...I have tried to speak to Megan Karpick who is the owner and was told she was on the phone and would get back to me. Never happened. She answered 1 email saying she was unaware of the situation and could she have a number to reach me. I have never heard from her.
To make matters worse, the phones are no longer answered except by voice mail and all mailboxes are full! We paid $2776.00 for door to door delivery and are now faced with another fee of the same amount if we want to see our things! Beware of this company!!!
