I have been experiencing the same problems as another member. In jan. 2005 I began having problems w/GMAC that my insurance was not verified. My insurance company & I both faxed, phoned & I mailed the insurance information to GMAC providing all information they requested. My financing fee has been increased & GMAC is threatening to take back my vehicle.

I have bent over backwards to no avail to solve this error. The only way you can contact someone is by phone, mail or email in which by phone you never get to speak to the same person who handled your call even if you request to by name; by mail, GMAC claims to never have received the information (will try certified mail);email, I'm afraid to even try.

The customer service reps appear to be helpful but each time you call & speak to a new rep, you get different answers on how to resolve the problem. It's very frustrating - at one point I had my insurance rep call GMAC with me on the line, verify that my insurance was/has been in effect during the entire time & fax my insurance declaration page. I was then told that all the information sent was good & it would take up to 2 mos. to correct-that was in Aug. 2005.

In total I have spoken to GMAC in Jan., Feb., Jun., Jul., Aug., & Oct. 2005 - I will probably be speaking to them again until this is resolved. GMAC takes advantage of its customers because there is no direct access to the company and its staff. I welcome a class action suit against GMAC. Their business practices is undesirable
