Go Claws.com, Flex Trax Extreme ripoff Knowingly Doing Business with Company Who Retains 15 State Violations & Unsatifactory Business Record INTERNET
The company GO CLAWS was sent several letters complaining that "Off-Road Adventures" retained an Unsatisfactory Performance Record with the BBB for failing to answer consumer complaints and for other serious matters. GO CLAWS continued to advertise and sell their products through this company, "Business as usual, even though 68% of 4WP's distributors had ceased to advertise after being notified.
The State Agency, Bureau of Automotive Repair has just completed their several month long Fraud investigation into the company known as 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers, d.b.a. Transamerican Auto Parts Inc., d.b.a. DSI. This company operates a nationwide off-road store chain, including but not limited to the SELLING of factory truck warranties redeemable at all major nationwide dealerships, and is also in the business of selling aftermarket parts/accessories to dealerships nationwide.
Several questionable issues delayed and/or interfered with the State Agencies abilities to complete their full investigation into this business entities transactions/conduct. One such example was the, Failure to produce documents/invoices in timely manner and/or the deliberate withholding of these documents to gain a strategic advantage, which is a violation of the business and professions code.
President Gregory W. Adler of 4 Wheel Parts Performance Centers/Transamerican Auto Parts Inc. has vehemently denied any wrong doing to date and has stated via the internet that, The customer is number one at 4 Wheel Parts.
However, his statement completely contradicts his companies Better Business Bureau Company Reliability Report of having an Unsatisfactory Performance Record which the report includes the following specifics below:
*Delivery Issues,*Difficulty Obtaining Refunds,*Overcharging,*Poor Installation,
*Poor Customer Service,*Billing Disputes,*Failure to Deliver Ordered Merchandise *Missing Items, and Incorrect Items.
Furthermore, Mr. Gregory W. Adler's statement of, The Customer is Number 1 is once again contradicted by the 15 Violations issued by the State Agency, Bureau of Automotive Repair.
This is just some of the following State Agencies final report violation subject matter that will be available via subpoena:
Written False and Misleading Statements etc.
Failure to Provide Written and Revised Signed Estimates etc.
Charging for Items Not Specifically Described etc.
Installation of Non-Calibrated (Zero-Mile) Odometer, installed on factory leases.
Several severe offenses were committed; unfortunately no enforcement action was taken due to the fact that there are no laws/enforcement regulations and/or legislation on the books to date.
The State Investigator audited the annual idler arm sales records between a major dealership and 4 Wheel Parts. Service Manager stated (name withheld), That after approximately (600) 1500 series idler arms were sold to 4 Wheel Parts, they began to return them for credit/exchange. Service Manager continued, I know that you are not installing these parts on factory stock trucks, but installing them on trucks with larger wheels and tires that puts a huge strain/wear on these parts causing them to wear prematurely.
Not only am I going to stop crediting you these idler arm parts, I'm going to stop selling them to you altogether. 4 Wheel Parts were purchasing factory stock parts and stating that they were Heavy Duty to handle the larger wheels and tires. ANOTHER VIOLATION issued by the State Agency.
10 other violations were issued similar in nature.

I am the present CEO / Inventor / Founder of Flex Trax and I find this report very disturbing! I do not understand how this State Agency, Bureau of Automotive Repair could post this very negative flaming report against GoClaws for simply doing business with a company under investigation.
If 68% of 4WP's distributors had ceased to advertise after being notified, did said agency consistently file such derogatory comments and public reports on the remaining 32% that "continued business as usual?"
"The Bureau of Automotive Repair regulates automotive repair dealers and
any person(s) who receive compensation for repairing or diagnosing
malfunctions of motor vehicles. The Bureau resolves complaints and has
jurisdiction over repairing, servicing, or maintaining automobiles,
motorcycles, and motor home chassis. Smog Check complaints are handled
by the Enforcement Division." Correct me if I'm wrong, but I fail to see any responsibilities concerning this Agency of filing such degrading comments against a supplier of products to a firm, simply under investigation.
I trust most investigated and reporting agencies have honorable
intentions and are essential in providing valuable services to the
public, but one might assume that something more personal and
prejudicial is occurring in this matter. Did the former owners or management of GoClaws break any laws in providing Advanced Traction Systems to a firm under investigation?

Effective in May 2005, Signal Ventures, Inc. purchased the assets of Flex-Trax, maker of GoClaws. We do not currently sell to "4 Wheel Parts". It is possible that they were sold some stock from the previous owners of the company. We operate under the highest business standards and we do not currently do business with any distributors we consider "shady". As an example of the type of businesses we work with, Cabela's happens to be our biggest distributor in the U.S. We also sell direct to the end-user through our websites www.goclaws.com and www.snobootz.com. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service. We ship promptly, bill accurately, and when we have a return, we refund the money the same day. When you call 800-420-1062, you'll always get a human being who answers, sometimes even myself, the president. Please call if you want any references of current customers. Reading this report, it seems more like an indictment of 4 Wheel Parts than GoClaws. GoClaws are unique winter traction device that have been on the market since 2004. We at Signal Ventures have worked hard to improve the GoClaws and to introduce other new products such as Snobootz. I invite anyone reading this Ripoff Report to call us and be reassured that we operate by the "golden rule", namely, we'll treat you like we'd like to be treated.
